What happened to Left 4 Quake?
I've just heard about that PSP port mod again in ages and I'm wondering if it was ever finished.

Yep. Still wondering why they decided to do it on the PSP.

And the latest video about it is with a spanish-speaking guy.

Probably just a personal challenge for the developers to see if they can port it onto PSP, maybe.

I'm guessing that it was also a benchmark as I'm pretty sure it could also work on PC.

Probably would've made more sense to put it on PC first though.
