Is there a way to disable this message?
it looks like someone tried to use reshade with doom eternal on your machine or something like that
there's a few ways to get rid of the message
you can look for and delete ReShade.ini in your quake folder, should be somewhere in ..\steamapps\common\Quake\rerelease\
if you plan on using reshade later you can just use the setup exe to recreate this file
or uninstall reshade from quake, here's info from the ReShade FAQ:
https://reshade.me/forum/troubleshooting/5227
if you don't have the reshade setup exe just grab it from the website (https://reshade.me/#download)
you can toggle reshade on/off for all vulkan games with the setup exe as well
PS: When you start the game, you can choose the Updated or Original version and there is no such message in the Original one.
While still in the game, some kind of panel opens on the Home button (it does not work) with data about the video driver and a bunch of settings. There is even a path written out to me in the game from above, but it does not work to change it. (this path is used as a place to save screenshots).
I downloaded the Reshade program, specified the use of the OpenGL API for Quake, and the message disappeared :)
