it's totally not the fact that you've got a crappy anti virus that blocks all internet protocol from legacy software combined with already present malware on your pc.
Your pc got wrecked by a 25 year old game.
Also, what is Steam doing hosting a piece of software with viruses on board?

The real & more efficient antivirus is yourself. You can even update your virus definitions in your own brain.
If GLQuake was a real virus (which it's not), it would have been taken down ages ago. Think about it.
been using computers for about 20 or so years now.. and i also agree .. antivirus is utter ♥♥♥♥. it creats problems with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scanners saying there is a problem and they slow your pc down. thiese types of software are for the uneducated pc user. All you ever need is Microsoft windows Defender. the only other 3rd party program i would be ok with is the free version of malware bytes.
