Their business is to make the quick buck by defiling rotten game corpses before anybody realizes they put only the lowest effort into it. Then they run away with your money (not with my money, as you can see).

Um, again, Blood. That was a game that was well received from the community, and yes, it has its issues at launch, but they've patched them. Also, what's the matter with making money re-relasing old games? That's a good deal in my eyes. (if the ORIGINAL games are good for me tho)

i did everything required to install quakespasm replaced winquake file. saved changes nothing happened. only gross texture filtering appeared

Just make a folder someplace, copy+paste /id1 from the Quake directory in there, and then put the executable from the source port of your choice in the same directory as id1, and then we can forget this nightmare
