I've never pushed the Windows key by accident while in a game in my life. My fingers are nowhere near it. I don't want this "protection", but I do often want to use the key on purpose, both when the game has focus and, even more so, when it doesn't.
I had to quit he game to type an emoji (Win + .) just now. Kinda ridiculous.
Game Bar on Win + G is an even bigger issue, including in game, as OP says.
This would be an immense overstep under normal circumstances. You don't block elements of a computer's usability "for" a user like you're doing them a favor. Stuff like this is *always* an option that is opted in to, not opted out of. Not that you can opt out of it, apparently.
Another body on the pile of Nightdive just being complete charlatans.
The problem is, at least for me, that borderless introduces noticeable input lag compared to fullscreen.
