Quake
Is there a command to display the frame rate?
Does anyone know how to display the frame rate in the remastered Quake 1?

Go in your rerelease folder and create an autoexec.cfg file. Write down the following command:
seta con_showfps "1"

Save it and quit.

You will always see your Fps everytime you boot the game

this doesn't work for me on the re-release. I tried to set sv_cheats to 1 and as soon as I was ingame it was still set to 0. I bet this is due to the KEX game engine.

The rerelease looks for custom config files in this location:
"C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake\default.cfg"
"C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake\config.cfg"
"C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Nightdive Studios\Quake\autoexec.cfg"
