Report a translation problem
The folder for gamepass, if I recall, is the windowsapps folder, which has massively reduced permissions to access. Even if you go through and forcibly add permissions to access the folder, getting write permissions to actually add anything into the install folder may not be possible. Seem to recall I couldn't get it working when I was playing Bloodstained on gamepass.
It's just windows file permissions shenanigans.
put the mod you want in there, then in the main menu, press tilde (~) and type "game (the name of the folder of the mod).
not every mod works with the remaster though.
Well, that means you can mod the remaster, but can't do much with the original versions.
The remaster is awesome! Quake holds up so well after 25 years!
If I still had access to game pass, I'd go digging into the files and see if the original files are still included. They most likely are with how this port works.
