Right Click Menu - Fullscreen, 2x 3x etc Zoom

Hey, I just wanted to let you all know that there's a right click menu that you should be trying!

Currently the only options in there are to go fullscreen and to zoom, but I've heard from a few people wanting to zoom.

Right click (or if you're on a mac, do the equivalent--is that command click?) and the menu that springs up beneath your cursor will allow you some extra control.

3x and 4x are too big for my screen, but 2x is nice.
It'd be cool to have widescreen support, or if that's not possible, perhaps black borders at the edge of the play area. It looks strange having things just disappear into the white background at the edges.

Hi Droqen,
I've been enjoying this for the last couple of days. Really addictive :)

I'd like to second poczta's request for a pause button in that menu (or even pause on losing focus). I've got small children, and dropping everything to help them means I get taken back even if I've got an awesome garden growing away and am almost ready to go key-grabbing.

There are many events other than small children that need immediate attending to and shouldn't punish the player with losing the round. I'm all for pause button.

And WSAD controls as an alternative for arrow keys. I eat with my right hand and can't both eat and play at the same time ;P.

I would like to see it filling the screen if possible. Fullscreen mode is too small at 1x and the zoom means less visibility.

Filling the screen would result in everyone with small screens getting less visibility than people with bigger screens! I've often thought about it but it's just not happening );

Here's what I don't understand: Why cant I just change the scale of the game without losing visibility? as in, stretching it as much as my screen allows me to while keeping the 1x proportion? I wouldn't care if it looked slightly worse, having 70% of my screen space unused is a little ridiculous, not to mention inconvenient.

SirDavies has a point, you have to admit, Droqen. Also, why not make it an option only after having finished the game once?

Nearest-neighbour-scaled pixels (unless scaled to integer multiples - 2x, 3x, etc) look... really bad, in my opinion. I could add that option pretty easily but it would be horrible at most scalings ]:

Any chance of a pause on right-click?
(Some of us have families and need to drop the game sometimes)

It looks bad only when using improper ratio, I wouldn't mind it if it was using the ratio of the current resolution I'm using (1280 * 1024 that is).

I agree that a pause button and an option to use the WASD keys rather than the arrow keys would be a nice addition to the game.
