So I've beaten the game (completed the post 3 key level) for each character... or at least I think each character (stupid gordon freeman and red lady were so hard!) Should something happen if I beat it with everyone? And if so then I guess that means that I haven't discovered every character. Are more tiles added on the overworld when I beat it with everyone? Or are the bunch of poems it and the game is over now?

I'm not all that interested in exploring aimlessly for now and am ok with a one step ahead spoiler as an answer to this if one exists.
