Loved the demo and was excited to play the game farther, but it won't load up for some reason. The seizure trigger warning shows up and then it seems to be stuck on a black screen. Driver is updated, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and then Steam, and have verified the files. Even tried some other things. We've tried everything we can think of with no success. Suggestions?

Hey DarkWhisper, thanks for contacting us.

Everyone who had blackscreens after the seizure warning had a GPU driver problem.

So I have to ask you to either update your GPU drivers (even though you said your drivers are up to date, we found out that it was often the case that they were not up to date)

The only other thing that can help is to rollback GPU drivers to an earlier version.

And it's also worth a try to start on Directx11 and see if it works then.

But I can tell you that in 100% of the blackscreen cases after the warning, it was always the GPU driver that was the problem.

Best regards

Hi Jotaro,

Thanks for the response. I tried opening it up on DirectX11 and even all the other options, same thing still happened. Knowing for sure that it's caused by the GPU driver gives a specific area to focus on at least. My computer says it has DirectX12, but maybe I missed something or can try rolling it back as you suggested.

Thanks.

Hey DarkWhisper!

the best thing would be if you join our discord, then we can help you better and faster and then we can also better identify the problem and explain individual steps to you :)

Best regards!
