The airfield construction menu was extremely frustrating. It works like 30% of the time. I wanted to readjust my airfield construction as it was taking WAY TOO LONG (building structures/items is abysmally slow and I got real tired of it by the end of the demo) but the arrows you drag to define airfield size just wouldnt work. Anytime I exited the menu after using it for the first time of the session, it would break and couldnt be interacted with again. So I would have to reload my game (never saved my first playthrough and it borked my whole save) adjust the arrows and watch as the menu breaks once again which leads to reloading again. This game still needs a lot of time and I dont think itll be ready by Q1 of next year as advertised. I hope they take their time or theyre going to be "mostly negative" or "mixed" on release which is a good way to stop a game in its tracks as we've seen several times on Steam.
P.S The base raids were bad*ss though, that put a smile on my face even though my base got smoked
