Discuss the ending?

So, what does it mean? I assume that Sarah is a witch like those 13 witches, that her mother was a lunatic at the asylum, she was born there...etc...not sure why she went back or was brought back to the asylum, or what the ending means precisely, 'it's me'? What, hmm? Any theories gang?

I am happy I watched The Angry Joe guy play through this game before I bought it and checked gamespot reviews lol. The look on Joes face at the ending made me lmao. Such a terrible game=/. I wish they had done more with it and carried through with something decent but nope.

I gave up it playing it and went to a Youtuber to see the ending.. then said why bother playing this turd afterwards. A better horror writer was desperately needed.

Sarah's mother got her away from the 12 who where hunting her. She however failed and for reasons i'm not certain she was returned to the asylum (this may have been explained on a note I didn't see/get) where she gave birth to Sarah and she may have cast a spell of 'light' on Sarah (also called patient 13) who is then protected for a set period of time. The spell however seems to have been slowly wearing off which slowly results in more and more anomolies on the island. Sarah herself seems to have amnesia, bpd or similar which is why she is unaware of what is going on.

I wouldn't call the writting bad, I would say it was largely uninspired though.

Yeah, it wasn't badly written per se, just not particularly original. And I think there are notes you don't find on one playthrough, because the game is meant to be replayed. Damned if I'm going to bother with that however.

Yeah, I got no clue. For a game that is inspired by blatantly ripped off slender which requires you to collect and read a bunch of documents it kind of didn't do a great job of explaining what the hell was going on.

Guess the idea that they want you to play through multiple times to actually understand what's going on is their way of artificially padding the game length :S

She isn't saying the witch is here, she is saying the reason for its prescence is her. I don't get what people found so hard to understand about this?

the reason i thought that was because when she said 'its me' the witch popped up on screen as if she was looking at herself or it was showing us her real self then the game ended. surely you can see how it was slightly confusing.

it doesn't seem to be the end or it just didn't have a feeling of closure. (or I'm just hoping it has a part 2. free dlc. wink wink devs ;) ) or is there an alt ending? It saves it so I've been trying to see where else to go. I've even tried both light doors. lol. hopedully, people post if there's any secrets in the game.

Please don't fk ur brains up explaining the end -.- it's a ♥♥♥♥ end i saw it on youtube it's same as this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game i already going to finish it to just prove how fken lame it is witches spawn behind and infront easily evaded scares are getting repeated which make it so EXTREMLY BORING + the story i missed half of it cause i hate reading papers or notes so such idiots put the story it self in notes who even read them they should had put it in the game line it self
