DIVO
Rewrite the description!
The description in the store seems to be translated with babelfish, I'm suprised Steam even let that passed since it just confuses you when you read it. Devs should try to get someone to rewrite it into proper english.

I'm surprised something like this can just get on to Steam and other much better games (with properly written descriptions) have to fight their way through the Greenlight process

Personally, I wouldn't let a badly done translation be an automatic no-go for me. There are many very intelligant people who only speak English as a third or fourth language if at all. There are also lots of very skilled programmers in Eastern Europe. This may be a one man operation, and babelfish could be the best translation the author can afford or has access to. It's dissapointing not to have a better description, but the game is going for all of $4.99 and should be judged on it's own merit.

The game is only available in english so i doubt english is a third of fourth language. If it is a third or fourth language he should hire someone else to write or translate/correct the description.

The game looks interesting, but if the person can't even write a description i don't think i want to give him any of my money, no matter how much it costs or how good it actually is. I even refuse to download free games with descriptions like this.

About the Game
DIVO - This is an unusual, bright and dynamic arcade game, where you control a hamster in a cyber wheel! Our hero must, within a limited time, reach the finishing point of the level while simultaneously avoiding collisions with enemies and collecting all sorts of bonuses, to successfully complete each level! The game also has various elements of puzzles, where you have to find certain items in order to pass a certain obstacle. Levels are designed as a large tower (tower rotation depends on the movement of the main character) around which are placed all the game elements: platforms, teleporters, traps, etc.

Key Features:
2 modes of movement for the hero: NORMAL mode and the MAGNET

The design of the levels do not have "left" or "right" edges, which allows the player to walk around the tower.

Game support Stereoscopic 3D

Enhanced graphics effects: Glow, SSAO, Soft Shadows. ( Require Pixel Shader 3.0 support)

I completely agree, that description is poor. Unfortunately, things like this turn me off buying such a game. As soon as I, well, attempted to read the description I was completely turned off. I know it's not just me that is like this, though maybe there are only a few of us.

ajf412's example of a slightly rewritten description is perfect evidence that the correct use of vocabulary and grammar can completely change the way a game is perceived.

I dunno if you're still around, but I want you to know that the main character in this game is a guinea pig, not a hamster. The original description (before you changed it) said he is a cavy. The cavy family is a branch of rodents that includes the Capybara and the guinea pig, among others. Hamsters do not belong in this group. The image of Divo (I assume that is his name) definitely looks like a guinea pig. I've had hamsters as pets before so I know what hamsters look like.

Ah, well... I tried. At least it fixed the majority of the problems of translation.
