Help on Fruit of Eden Puzzle (Temple of Moonlight)
Okay guys, I'm stuck on this puzzle here in that I can't figure out how to activate this room.. Are you supposed to read tablets then come back to the room, or what? I know once you're in that room and activate the puzzle, you drop 4 weights in a specific order, and recieve the Een Fruit which unlocks the Gate of Confusion. Screenshots prferred, but anything you have would help.

(For reference, I've killed Amphis, Sakit, Ellmac, Bahamut, and Viy, and collected most of the items could find up o this point. I can warp to back side places; Nsmely Temple of moon, Tow of Ruin, and Tower of the Goddess, and the Twin Labyrinths if that makes an difference.)

SPOILER ALERT
First find six tablets that tell you about four boxes and a place bathed in moonlight. Two will be in the Temple of moonlight and the rest aren't. (happy hunting!) Then once you believe you have found one of the four places that are hinted at, scan it to make a dias appear in the room with the "boxes". Then open the boxes in the order of which is closest to Eden.

SPOILER ALERT AGAIN
There are 4 distinct spots that you have to examine in the Temple of Moonlight. For example, one is in A-1. When examined, there will be a glow around it for a second, and then you can proceed to find the others.
For details on which ones exactly, check the wiki, but it's better not to. :)

When you scan a spot there's a brief flash of light and a pedestal will appear in the room where you get the fruit. If you're really stumped but refuse to look at a guide just scan every place that's remotely suspect.

Reading the tablets is not necessary. They're just hints. If you know which four spots you have to scan, you can just go and scan them.

After much trial and error, I finally did figure out how.

**WARNING - SPOILER ALERT, PUZZLE SOLUTION AHEAD**

The first place you have to scan is the top-left most room, next to where you find the entrance to Eden. Scan the face at the top of the room, the platform that the skeleton is walking on.

The second place you scan is at the top of the elevator where the 4 hands come together (the one that you ride up if you enter from the Temple of the Sun) It's two rooms right and four rooms down from the first scannable object.

The third one, there's a hidden picture two rooms to the right of where you scanned the second object, Scan around right where you climb up the ladder from the room below..

And finally the last one is the bottom most room. Instead of placing a weight on the pedestal there (which activates a trap) scan it instead, and hear the magical tune of PUZZLE SOLVED!

Now, warp back to the Grail Point, go one room to the right. 4 NEW pedestals have appeared to drop weights on. Drop the two on the top first (left then right), then drop one on the bottom, then finally drop a weight on the middle, and claim your prize: the Fruit of Eden!

Hope this helps other players who get sstuck on this puzzle.

How is it random and it's meant to be obscure it is unlocking a place all about confusion and obscurity.

I used a guide to get through this puzzle, and as I worked through it, I realized I had read the tablets with the hints for it beforehand, but had never connected the dots. ("Those seeking Eden?" But Eden is right there!).
There tend to be a few keywords to look for in hints, such as "look," "lights," "power," "wisdom," "foolish," and so on. You have to approach this game more as a pile of secrets than a traditional game.

I had saved all the eden related tablets using that program that lets you record up to 10 (20 with the add-on) messages. I had no problem doing this puzzle, other then wasting 4 weights figuring out which switch opens which chest so i could do them in order (one of the tablets tells you to open the farthest ones first).

The dancing man was really hard to find, IMO.
