Here's my current items: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283512988
My current software: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283513006
And puzzles/oddities I'm stuck on:
- I have no idea if there's even a puzzle here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255511
- How to get to those two top-left rooms in Inferno. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255533
- How to get this old butthead out of there so I can reach the room behind him. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255557
- I have no idea if this breakable plate is part of a puzzle either. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255608
- I also don't know if the button and gold chest here are a puzzle or not. The secrets horn rings when I press the button and it always resets to being closed when I re-enter the room so I'm thinking maybe there's something more to it, but nothing seems to work. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255593
- How to get behind these two walls. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255627
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=283255578
- How to get to the 4 top-right rooms in Chamber of Extinction.
- That red woman wall glyph and the chest in the room atop the entrance to Temple of Moonlight.
- The white flying miniboss at Twin Labyrinths which from what I accidentally overread is made much more tolerable with a specific time item I don't have.
- How to progress in the Eden maze. I found that destructible wall with a bunch of gold inside but that was about it.
- How to summon the dragon at Endless Corridor.
Could someone give me a hint on one or more of these? It's really frustrating to just hit walls for an hour and not even know if I was missing an item and it was all for nothing. :\
ps: I've explored the Tower of Ruin and I got the spear, but once again I haven't found more ways to progress.
No puzzle here, just an NPC behind one of the blocks.
Will be accessible much, much later, near the endgame.
This will get resolved a little later.
That's just a red herring. Looks like you already solved this puzzle.
It's just a boobytrap (on the WiiWare version there is an alternate pathway to the grail tablet right under that chest).
First one: You drop from the room above. Hint: some weapons, such as the dagger, can hit the ground below Lemeza.
Second one: You enter that room from the right hand side (except you can't yet).
1) Not available until near the endgame.
2) You don't have the required item yet.
3) True, but it's still possible to defeat him if you persevere. Also, this may help:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mx6ubn6p8CU
EDIT: well, this is beyond stupid. The forum's auto-censor is censoring the last two letters of the YouTube link, which breaks the embed! The code for this YouTube video is Mx6ubn6p8 plus a capital C and a capital U...
Still, no need to defeat him now.
4) So, the way forward is neither left nor right. Observe that one room very carefully. Like they say, one of these things is not like the others... Hint: look for a glowy thingy that suspiciously lacks animation. Also, this whole place has a running theme of "nothing is what it seems"
5) The answer lies at the bottom of the Gate of Illusion...
The spear is good for hitting things that are below you, that you can't reach otherwise...
Heh, formatting this post was hard! :P
The white flying miniboss at Twin Labyrinths is killable without the said item, but requires you to have a quite substancial health pool and a shield, also some software to make your weapon more powerful. Not to mention you don't really have to kill it unless you want to reach one of the guardians residing in twin labyrinths. Theres actually a pattern and once you figure it out the boss is killable with minimal health lost, i can make your life easier by revealing that a hit on the boss will interrupt his time stop ability if you havent figured that out yet by yourself, its quite obvious once you get a few tries on it:) I remember i killed it after studying his behaviour for at least an hour long session of deaths :)
There's an extremely helpful item that you can use to battle back against this foe, but it is locked away until you find another item, one that requires climbing the Tower of the Gddess and reaching a seperate part of the Graveyard of the Giantrs (Which in turn means you rither have to Obliterate the next Guardian in line, or fumble around through the back door in the darkness ;)
I unlocked those stairs that go to the floor above but I see no way to make use of them now. I also tried going into the portals in a myriad of combinations but nothing seems to work so I assume the answer is once again sneakier than that, and likely different from last time.
And I don't think I've been to a Gate of Illusion yet. :o
If you guys have any other tips I'd greatly appreciate it. In the meantime I guess I'll go slap some more walls over at the Tower of Ruin. ;u;
Update: Just found the store that sells the snapshots software. Worth buying now? I usually use my own software to screenshot the entire game window (or the steam screenshot feature).
Update2: I got the Ankh jewel in Tower of Ruin.
The snapshot software will be needed for future and will allow you to obtain other software aswel as progress in game in the last stages of it :)
Also, welcome to another of those riddles that have stumped hundreds, if not thousands of La-Mulana players all over the world! This is the (in)famous "search on bended knee for a single fallen item" puzzle. It's... tricky. I'm not sure how to help you with this one without outright giving you the answer, but I'll try. The secret lies in the "single fallen item" part. You have to realize that one certain object behaves in a particular way, unique to this place. But here's the straightforward answer should you need it. WARNING, SPOILERS!!!: Search for a vase that always drops 1 shuriken. Break it, stand where it was, and press down.
As for the snapshot software, it doesn't actually take snapshots of the screen. It does something else, and it's required to beat the game. You don't really have to buy it right now, though, because it doesn't have any immediate use at this point in the game.
Though honestly, that is so obtuse that I'm not too worried that I spoiled it for myself.
The snapshot software sounded promising when I thought it might be the solution to either the Chamber of Extinction big glyph room or the red woman glyph in Temple of Moonlight, but alas, it does nothing. ;u;
Also, I got the pepper from the guy. Could you please just tell me if it's a unique face that I have to use it on or one that looks exactly like many others? It would greatly reduce the workload.
