Gentle Bros Gear?

Okay, I'm just going to straight up ask. What does this gear do? I only have the hat, vest and ranged weapon equipped and I see nothing but +1 attack per level of the ranged weapon. I even leveled them to level 10. Nothing. What do they do???

How I know they give you an achivmant with all gear.

I saw the same question in another discussion, and folks there tried everything to see if it made a difference. It didn't. I just completed my second playthrough on the + level, and wore it for the latter part of the game. No change in end game dialogue, credits, etc.
I don't think it does anything yet.

Keep in mind that this game has a magic outfitter that can make your gear look like other gear. It's entirely possible that the whole "purpose" of the set is to let you dress in top hat and tails while getting the effects of whatever armour you prefer.

Heh i knew about it, but I'll admit, I missed it until someone mentioned it, and never said where it was, I just figured it's description as a magic mirror made where it was kind of obvious.

It's not exactly obvious, but, yes, it's there. Go into the magic shop and walk through the right wall and you'll find it.
