Players noticing the short tie of completion is purroof that you did a good job. Good times are always too short.
Now few things you might wanna take a look at:
- As said before, some players are missing our fellow dogs introduced in CQ2
- A purrrate story without a real Ghost ship...
- No Tiger shark?
- Where is Purrseïdon, god of the 7 seas?
- Some underwater and / or ice world and more secrets would be nice
- More battles in the sea
On the technical side:
- There is a need for some iFrame especially with ranged attacks that can chain players for a while
- Would it be possible to have a way to differentiate between players magic and enemies magic as it could be confusing when used simultaneously (E.g. Infinity Tower)?
Cheers,
Please also consider to add some requests from the cat-munity.
You are exactly right! Cat Quest 2 had 3 years of updates that added more content, while Cat Quest 3 is just getting started! In fact, Cat Quest 3 is already starting in a much stronger place since it ships with NG+ at launch.
The entire Gentlebros team is very passionate about the Cat Quest games, and we will make sure we give this the same attention and love the previous iterations had! :3
Well, Doggy Jones have been mentioned a few times, so I can imagine some sidequest where you have to defeat him in ship combat first (him aboard the Flying
Dachshund, perhaps?), and instead of his ship sinking, it washes ashore and you can explore it as a dungeon, with ghosts acting like the fire walls in the Fire Pi-rat hideout, causing arcane damage insted of fire.
Please, remove the RNG item to obtain the Weird Mushroom and Fire Crystal. Why have to grind and grind and grind to obtain these items? Why not earn them as a Reward? That to me makes more sense....!
oh well like any of that genre i suppose one just have to do multiple runs for it's unique reward...
As far as I can tell, every item can be obtained outside the tower, except the Weird Mushroom, sooo... maybe Charon could give one after your first attempt at the tower?
Wait what?
Why would Charon give the Weird Mushroom reward? He doesn't? The Weird Mushroom isn't awarded but it's an RNG item requires repetitive grinding...
If you read my comment, you'd understand precisely what I'm talking about. If a person is trying to obtain the Steam Achievements, then these two items is ONLY obtain through RNG and not rewarded like other side-quests...
That's what I'm trying to convey to the Developers of this game. Remove these two items RNG and have them rewarded like the other items in the game (and pass Cat Quest games).
I think you misunderstood. I said that Charon COULD give you a Weird Mushroom for attempting the tower. As in, he doesn't, obviously, this is just my idea or suggestion for a way to make it a fixed reward. As for the Fire crystal, they drop from the ... fire crystal-like enemies on Sunset Islands, nearly as frequently as meowtal pirates drop Electric Circuits.
