Meowgus puzzle

I keep hitting the stones in the order on the note but nothing happens. Anyone else having this problem?

So far I had no issues, but some are more tricky. I'm on NG+ atm.

Try to hit it with a ranged weapon, some of the melee ones hit twice and it cancels.

Figured it out. You have to beat the tower with Charon out front first before it will work.

Hmm, that shouldn't be the case. We will look into this just in case it's a bug.
If you know the order, the Meowgus puzzle can be completed right from the beginning actually.

Not sure what happened l but I did the same sequence 5 times before giving up and then doing the infinity tower. Following that I gave it one more try and it worked.
