Where do I even start with 1v1.lol? Oh my god. I came into this game expecting a dumb little Fortnite clone with maybe some janky fun to be had. What I got instead was a Frankenstein’s monster made out of lag spikes, terrible hitboxes, and the collective rage of every 13-year-old on the internet.

Let’s talk gameplay: if you’ve ever wanted to build like Fortnite but with the controls of a drunken spider tap dancing on a banana peel, this is your game. The building system is about as intuitive as a Rubik’s cube dipped in glue. Half the time the walls don’t place, the ramps flip the wrong way, and you end up trapping yourself in a box like you're speedrunning how to embarrass yourself in front of strangers.

The shooting? LOL. More like praying. You shoot someone dead-on with a shotgun? Nothing. Meanwhile, some sweatlord with a cracked-out DPI setting 720s mid-air and one-taps you from across the map with a pistol. Cool. Totally fair. I love dying in half a second to someone who’s clearly been practicing since the womb while my shots phase through people like I’m fighting ghosts.

And don’t even get me started on the matchmaking. It’s literally "Would you like to be destroyed by a 9-year-old with god-tier reaction time and a caffeine addiction?" There's no ranking, no skill balancing—just pure chaos. I loaded in, blinked, and I was dead. I’m convinced some of these players have installed third-party aim assist or sold their souls to get wallhacks. Either that or the game just straight-up hates me.

Oh, and the UI? Absolute garbage. The menus look like they were designed by someone using Microsoft Paint. Buttons don’t always work, the shop is shady as hell, and half the time the game doesn’t even remember your settings. Why even have settings if the game just decides, "Nah, fullscreen today, buddy" every time you open it?

And lag? BRO. I live in a first-world country with decent internet and I still teleport around like I’m trying to cosplay as Nightcrawler. You’ll shoot someone and they’ll literally disappear like it’s some David Blaine trick. One second they're there, next second, poof—they're behind you with a shotgun.

Sound design? I can’t tell if someone’s above me, below me, or inside my soul. Every footstep sounds like it’s right next to you. It’s like being haunted by a squeaky shoe ghost.

I’ve seen better graphics on a TI-83 calculator. I get it, it's supposed to be simple, but this isn't minimalistic—it’s just ugly. The characters look like knock-off LEGO men and the colors are so washed out it feels like someone applied a depression filter over the entire game.

In conclusion: 1v1.lol is less of a game and more of a digital slap in the face. I went in hoping for a dumb shooter I could mess around in for a few laughs. I came out with existential dread, trust issues, and a permanent dent in my desk from facepalming so hard. The only thing this game 1v1s is your will to live.
