Why 6% positive ?
The game is nowhere near perfect but come on ?

Only 6% thought it would have been lower than that by now. I wonder what the rating is on the other game this studio released yesterday as well as this one.

The things I read here are: 'The game is bad because these things are NOT like the ones Hunt Showdown has'. But it's NOT Hunt Showdown.
It's not just a set of matches put together. There are a lot of things to do between raids. And we tried to make the game realistic.
If you buy a paper map in your small hometown store, you probably won't see yourself on it. You should know the map and have a decent knowledge of map orientation. The same is here. It's your old paper map and not the traveling Almanakh.
But I can assure you, having some orientation tips and playing for at least few hours - you will be able to tell the newer players where the extraction point is.
Thanks everyone!
Cheers!

I hate to bring up Hunt showdown again but they have an interesting mechanic for beginners were they actually get to keep their characters even if they die up until they reached a certain lvl(playtime basically) just to smooth the transition into that particular hardcore aspect of the game.

Maybe go a down a similiar road to ease the entry for new players and maybe you could have some sort of toggle that puts your character on the map that is only available the first few hours of gameplay and then it is forcefully/automatically removed.

I personally really like realistic navigation and maps but to force this upon new players that might not even dig this sort of mechanic will unfortunately alienate quite a few players.

That's the problem with a lot of games: they add ‘immersive features’, which for most people, mainly new players, are just features that weigh down the gameplay. Like a map with a compass (although I personally like it): for a lot of new players, it just makes the game heavier and harder to get into, even though they're new to the game and have lots of other features to master. For veterans, no problem, because they know the map and only need it occasionally, so the effects of immersion generally wear off quickly.

Therein lies the dilemma for this kind of game: to be immersive for a while at the expense of ease of access? Is the immersive aspect really fun, and useful for the gameplay?

I would personally like to hold compass like in Arma Reforger to be honest...

Tarkov, arma3, squad all pretty complicated games that ppl play regularly you can beat around the bush anyway you want i ges but the fact is the systems are NOT hard to learn they are just bad the guns are bad the ammo system is possible the worst idea in gamin history tbh everything about the game makes the core mechanics lack luster im mean my god its a looter shooter where the absolute most valuable thing you could ever find is a common pair of shears to make ammo lol its wildly poorly thought out

We listened to most of the feedback and the new Update will solve most of the issues, found on the release date. Although some things are still might be a thing for discussions and adjustments. That's why we need you, the Community.
These changes will make a huge push to the overall gameplay, so hope you will like them.

It is a pity that many people appreciated this game on the first start. Without reaching and understanding all the coolness and depth of the game. Crafting everything, dynamic merchants, and mercenaries all deserve special praise.
