Is the pick axe better than improved axe for fending off the Skin Stealer?

It takes 5 hits with the improved axe to make it let go. I could get him to let go right before where it kills me but then it just turns right around and grabs me right away, then there's not enough time to get another 5 hits in. Level 84 is making me want to uninstall this game. The Skin Stealer is so OP here. And the blind mechanic doesn't work half the time on the hounds, its not consistent. We've done the levels beyond this but level 84 is incredibly unfair.

No it's the same amount of hits with either one but the axe has a faster swing, I'm working on some balancing for the skinstealer. If you are trying to continuously blind the hounds it won't work, you can only briefly stun them for a few seconds by holding down the strong light on your flashlight, once they recover they'll become immune to the flashlight for a few seconds, when they're immune their eyes will glow red. It's best to run away as soon as you see the hound start it's blinded animation.

I hope that helps :) The skinstealer will soon be nerfed.

Ohh I did not know that about the hounds! That's hugely helpful. As for the skin stealers, don't nerf them too much! At least make the axe/pick axe swing a tad bit faster or reduce the amount of hits it takes by one or two. Or even reduce the speed at which at which the skinstealer runs while its carrying you.
