Can't join or find Friend group

Friend list is empty when pressing ESC. and I can't join through steam. I restarted Steam, the Game, And my computer. Still can't find or join them.

Have you tried joining them through the in-game browser with the session code?

my friend is having the same issue, with multiple restarts and different ways of inviting. If they host, i can't see their lobby, its like they dont exist on the game. their friends list is also empty.

If it's not too much of a bother, is there anyway you could try removing each other from steam and then try joining each other with the in-game session code. I understand if you don't want to try it but if you do, then I would really appreciate if you could let me know whether it works or not. It seems like the issue is specifically with joining steam friends for some people.

I have tried everything from deleting, reinstalling, and verifying file integrity. When I load up the game, it gives my desktop name for my player name even though I am online on Steam and have it allowing access through my firewall. There are no host lobbies or anything, and when I use friends' join code, it says session not found. if you need screenshots i have them available.

Found a fix just don't put the steam beta on

This actually worked if any beta is turned on in your account settings turn it off and lobbies will show.
