During the animation scene, while Vic is in the pod she has a slight tan. Clearly from her mom's side. Mix family. Which is fine. But something odd happens. For some reason between space and when she crash lands, she found a tanning bed and fell asleep in it?

I'll admit I was a bit confused as to who the protagonist was after the game switched from the (absolutely beautiful) cinematic to the in-game artstyle. The character looks so different in each. I think it would be easier to update her model texture instead of each keyframe of the cutscene, but I wouldn't mind if they decide to update the cutscene to match her model, either.

Same I found it rather odd that she became drastically darker than the cut scene. They should definitely make it match. I hope the difference wasn't due to outside influences. Artificial shoehorning only kills games, it doesn't enhance them.

I'm probably wrong (like 99.99% chance) but I just assumed she was having a flashback to the loss of her parents because she was in a crashing pod again. She looks very young at the start vs once you get to control her. She doesn't break down about any of it (I'm not far in the demo so maybe it happens later? but she's very chipper if that had just happened). She pops out, heals up and runs around like a kid in a candy shop, she doesn't act like she just survived a space station explosion with a major loss of life, not even when getting that portal open to meet up with Tabitha.
But again, I'm probably wrong here and it's just a bad artistic match up between opening video and playable character *shrug* It is just a demo right now, maybe we're missing something that was cut from the demo?
