UI / menu bug - PC

UI becomes unusuable. Started today.

(edit:) Not just ESC key, just the menus. Don't know what triggers it, seems to happen at random.

Same, the moment I go into a store I cannot exit it, sometimes the UI breaks entirely and disappears. I have to restart the game everytime I enter a shop.

It just started for me a few minutes ago, had to alt+f4 out of the game, relogging was the same thing. Exited Steam, relaunched it, still the same. Even tried restarting my PC, and my internet connection, still the same. Chat won't load up either.

Did the servers crash out?

Seems like it is a general issue with it, and neither X or Reddit has anything about this

Yeah running into this as well just now. Was working perfectly last night, maybe the hotfix messed something up.

I'm having the same issue. I open a menu and the game is still running, and icon hover is still functioning, but I can't exit the menu or enter any other, I'm just stuck. It started happening about 20 to 30 min ago.

started 20 minutes ago, after every mission i am stuck, i just see my cursor and cant click or move.

After mission ends, and you press "exit" to return to your ship, the mouse curser is up and you can not do anything. even "Alt F4" wont close game out. honestly kinda comical

Same here basically interacting with any UI elements just crashes my game, gotta love it

exactly, only closing the game via alt+tab works, but it happens after every mission
