"App already running" problem/fix [Windows 10] (Steam/Warframe)

When trying to start Warframe, Steam will always think it's already running. (Even if you try to exit Steam, he'll tell you to close the game first.) If you try to end the Steam process, you will think it solved the problem. After you start Steam again, Warframe will be ready to play. BUT, the moment you try to start Warframe, the launcher won't be able to update, and you'll be stuck with an "app already running" problem again.

Normally, an easy fix with earlier versions of Windows would be to end the process of the game itself. But in Task Manager, (in Processes Tab) Launcher, Evolution Engine, Warframe, etc. None of them appear or any name related to the game can be found. I did check the internet to find a solution, but nothing worked for me.

Before doing the ultimate solution, to uninstall/download/reinstall, I just found a way to fix the problem. I noticed a new tab in Task Tanager I haven't seen before with Windows 7. A "Details Tab". I already checked the other tabs just to try my luck finding anyting related to Warframe. Might as well check this one too. THERE IT WAS! Warframe.exe process still running. It was nowhere to be found in the "Processes Tab", but hiding in the "Details" one.

Anyway, I hope it can help some people.

i cant terminate the launcher.exe process "access not granted" -.-

The only time I had any problem with the launcher, is when the update bugged. A reboot of the computer solved that problem. (Maybe your launcher is " trying " to update in a loop, and prevent you from closing it.)

I did this but still wont work... As you can see it still show my profile still playing warframe, for at least 2 days now. I ended the warframe.exe in the process tab but i went back to check its not even there! T_T what do i do?

I scrolled down the task manager and found warframe.exe i closed it, that worked for me
