Rolling guard mod makes it clear up though. I found the issue came up a lot in Profit taker fight... basically getting stun-locked in the shock nets until death ha ha... rolling at least lets you get some distance/clears effects.
The logic I think goes like this. Frame death will pull your operator back regardless of operator health.
The frame took fatal damage and pulled you back but Quick thinking saves you so you get stuck in a loop until you stop the status effect or the power you are using runs out.
If you transfer out with no powers running you should be immune to damage, with a power running you only have 90% DR
