I've bout to reach rank 4 with Vox Solaris, and I was thinking of finally getting a 777 amp, but dong some reading it seems like it's not the best for most things outside of Eidolon farming. I need to farm some Eidolons for shards to rank up the Quills to rank 4, but I also do alot of missions with Thrax and Void Angels, so I don't know. What is a pretty good amp? I hear x47 is pretty good (but requires the next level of Quills).

I don't remember if the current meta is 747 or 547 if you're taking on Thrax.

I've personally been satisfied with 746. I haven't really checked if the numbers are optimal, but it's just what I've most enjoyed the feel of.

Honestly, my main complaint is having to remake the parts over and over to try out different combos.

Yeah, I kind of want to just get the parts once and build it and be done with it. I'm using an amp atm that is basically what I can get through Quills 1-3. I might see if I can tag along on some Eidolon hunts to get enough shards so I can do a 547.
