If you roll by double tapping [SHIFT] while in the air this will gain you extra momentum.
Chain these techniques together to to reach a high speed and keep your momentum going.
Sprinting, Wall Running, Rolling, Bullet Jumping, Gliding, Slash Dash Slides, Jump Kicking into Slides, Slash Dashes while bullet jumping and a few other combinations of things can all increase your map traversal speed. In addition to this having a Volt on your Team will dramatically increase the effectiveness of all of these by several hundred percent.
I sent you a friend request in case you'd like some assistance or people to team up with.
1 Jump
1 Double jump
1 Bullet jump (in any forward direction including down from a jump)
1 dodge
Aimglide duration
Slide duration
Depending on your weapon an aerial attack
Any of which are reset if you touch a solid surface.
So the way you get fast is to do millisecond split timing so you "reset" you jumps. If you see an overhang you're gonna collide with; bulletjump down into a roll or aimglide so you never lose momentum.... which is the name of the game... momentum.
Also think outside of the box... you can link that bulletjump after a normal jump too so you can U turn onto overhangs...your bulletjump doesn't have to be the first thing you do.
For example; you can jump forward to peak around a corner then, upon seeing there's a mofo there with a rocketlauncher that's gonna 1-hit you, do a quick vision turn 180 and bulletjump back.... or even jump backwards for a little bit of height only to bulletjump forward.
A lot of it is experience and once you have it down other game's movement starts to feel so sluggish, rigid and slow xD
