Trouble on the Neptune Junction
I've been breezing through the star chart recently but have found myself stuck at the Neptune Junction. The original strategy I was using to kill the specters was to just ground pound them to death not giving them a chance to attack but the Frost specter at the Neptune junction seems to be immune to stuns. Is there a secret trick I need to use or should I just get higher leveled (master rank 3 currently).

assuming you chose excalibur as your starter: press 2 near them, press 4, execute them

if you did not: make the primary "Hek"
mod it for viral damage (cold + toxin), multishot, damage and slash
click on the specters face
repeat step 3 till victory
thanks it worked
I'll add to this that a few years ago I put a couple builds for new players up on overframe (common build sharing website). I'll drop a few here in case you get stuck with quests or planets coming up.
My rules for a build:
1. Mastery 5 or lower weapons.
2. All weapon blueprints buy-able from clan dojo or market for credits
3. No prime mods or super limited availability mods
4. Require an orokin catalyst (farmable from Nightwave shop)

Primary:
- Hek. 2 forma. MR 4. Classic all-star of new players for years now. https://overframe.gg/build/248658/hek/2-forma-zero-prime-basic-hek-build/

Secondary:
- Atomos: 1 forma. MR 5. High status chaining flamethrower. https://overframe.gg/build/248668/atomos/zero-prime-basic-atomos-build/
- Kunai: 2 forma. MR zero. Surprisingly good stealth weapon. VERY strong when used with the warframe Mag's second ability (large bubble that makes the kunai turn into a blender) https://overframe.gg/build/248669/kunai/zero-prime-basic-kuni-build-for-mag-bubble/

Melee:
- Ether Reaper: 0 forma. MR 4. Heavy attack build. As long as you have ANY stance equipped to a scythe, a heavy attack will force a slash (bleed) status effect on every enemy hit regardless of status chance. This build is only scaling those bleeds. Spam heavy attack and melt everything that isn't immune to status (like many bosses). https://overframe.gg/build/248659/ether-reaper/zero-prime-ether-reaper-heavy-attack-build/

If you don't have a specific mod, swap in the closest mod you have or look up where that one drops and start working towards it. A few examples:
- The 60% status and elemental heat and cold mods come from various levels of spy missions.
- The 60% toxin mods are from a boss that spawn in endless missions in the Void
- Gold mods with a penalty (like Corrupt charge) are from "orokin vaults" that require "dragon keys" on Deimos. Those can be fun to learn about and are a decent source of mods to trade and sell for platinum as a new player.
- Various set mods like the Carnis or Gladiator mods drop from bounties or monsters on various open worlds.
- Nearly all these mods will be relatively cheap to trade for as well if you have a little platinum (5-10 plat for most) or find a friendly veteran who offers to help. Some of us vets have tons of extra mods and would love to give a few away to help someone new. It's how I got a few mods when I started and when I asked what they wanted for payment, I was just told to "pass it on" someday. If you're in a clan, ask around and tell them you're new and need help getting a few mods. They'll either help you learn how to farm them, or they might hand you a few. It really depends.
