How does one find Cephalon Fragments on Mars?

So In order to complete Phobos Junction I need to scan these fragments. Though I have never seen them anywhere on mars, I have done capture maps plenty of times and searched every crevice on the map but yet to find anything.

Is it only found on certain missions? Though that wouldn't be the case as I have completed every mission (except archwing) on mars and still shows 0/5.

Can't wait to leave those hyekka masters.

The other thing is, do you have quest active, do you visit cephalon simaris on the second floor of relay? May be they are simply not available to you at this moment. Quest is THE NEW STRANGE.
And of course you need one of the scanners - codex or synthesis - can be purchased for credits from simaris.

What is more interesting to me - do they appear more often than one per 24h :D?
Because I find one like right away and then in next missions nothing at all.

You can't activate this quest without doing the Jupiter-Europa Junction, but you can't get to Jupiter without getting to Ceres, but you can't get to Ceres without getting to Phobos, but as it stands, you can't go to Phobos without scanning 3 Cephalon Frags, so I don't think this quest has to be active to start rendering the Cephalons. Now I'm extra frustrated because they are just not generating for me at all. I only see them in foresty areas like on Earth. I feel like I haven't seen a single one since I've been on Mars, and I usually notice them.

They are Blue orbs that look like a bad coding error. And you need to bring Codex Scanners to complete them which are cheap and are found under gear. Dont forget to equip them before you start the mission.
