I noticed some Mods are cracked, how do I fix them?
I noticed some of my mods are damaged, what effect does it have on them and can they be fixed?

You can't fix them. You get these very early in the game, but soon you'll only get normal ones.

EDIT: as for the effect -- if you compare them to their undamaged counterparts, you'll notice that (usually) they provide a lower bonus and have lower capacity drain.

They also have fewer upgrade levels. You shouldn't upgrade them anyway, though, unless you're really sure -- like I upgraded a damaged Continuity at some point, because I kept not getting an undamaged one. But, at that time, the Endo wasn't an issue anymore anyway.

Ok thanks, yeah, I'm struggling to find Endo.

It's a good idea to keep these around and even upgrade mot of them since sometimes they will provide more bonus for less mod cost and can be good when you're at a low MR or leveling equipment.

For example:

For 5 mod cost the normal one will only provide 50% max energy compared to the damaged one providing 72% energy. There are a few other examples of this.

This also allows you to delay upgrading another mod just for a sentinel to have a small bonus to capability.
