Kunai counts as pistol ?

Stupid question :) But since I'm newbie, I'm checking mods and I have plenty mods for pistol while I'm using bow and kunai, so I was wondering does they count as secondary weapon aka pistol or there are different categories ?

It's just "melee", "primary" and "secondary". So yes, it may say "pistol" on the mod, but it works for all secondiaries. Likewise, it might say "rifle" on the mod, but will work on bows as well.

true but there is a subtle difference for primaries : shotguns have their own set of mods... (everything that is not considered a shotgun can equip "rifle" mods)

When you go to "Upgrade" a weapon in the Arsenal...if the mod is there in the rows at the bottom, you can put it on that weapon. If it isn't there, you can't.

Kunai counts as Pistol.
Bow counts as Rifle.

Right, I keep forgetting the shotguns. I did, however, intentionally ignore the occasional mods that are more specific.

Wepons fall into more then one catagory.

but yes, i think the kunia counts as both Pistol and Thrown,
same ways Bows are counted as Rifles and .. well Bows
