Two options to gain standing.

Go to cetus at night, enter the plains and kill vomvalysts (physical with your weapon and spectral with your amp) then collect the cores.

Or talk to konzu and take the teralyst bountyx go on public matchmaking. Find the teralyst, deplete it's shields with your amp, then shoot the weak points (knees and arms).
Build your weapons for crit and radiation. Snipers are best.

So a rubico prime with 3x base crit and 95% crit chance with mods built with radiation is best?

ivara can pull cores out of the little guys. Then you can kill them and get another.

MR 8 may not be well geared enough to farm the big guys. Hard to judge by MR but youll want to have maxed out good quality mods, and a fair bit of operator points invested.

How do you get operator points fast? I mean i have used a lens on a soma prime but the points are so slow for such a high requirement to upgrade the operator? Is there something im missing?

Focus is gained via kills with a lensed warframe/weapon after you collect the convergence orb, the focus scales with level of enemy just like affinity, so you need a balance of killing lots with killing fast. Soma prime isn't a good weapon for this. Anyways you are better off using a nuke warframe that can kill lots fast. The focus gained this way has a daily limit though. You can also gain Focus from shards given my eidolons after capturing them, there is no limit on the focus so long as you have shards to convert into focus. So in the long run doing Eidolon hunts will get you more focus faster if you do it often.

For affinity-based focus farming, it's not a bad idea, since he excels at killing things using only his powers.

For Eidolon hunting, not really. since he doesn't bring much to the table.

As long as you are doing just the normal Eidolon and not the triplet then just join a random squad via the bounty. The Teralyst is a pushover even without any operator investment. Just bring a decent gun to get the damage phases over quick

Not really. Ive been gathering points for years from lens. It eventually becomes a hefty amount. Killer frames like mesa in mid level content does OK.

I heard mesa is pretty good, everybody praises her, i dont understand what makes her so good
jonnin 2018 年 10 月 29 日 下午 9:16
mesa, with high end mods, can use her 4th ability pretty much nonstop and can at least roll or slowly walk in it. This ability uses frame weapons (like excal sword) that can be fully modded to do great damage, and what it does is automatically target any enemy in front of you and shoot them, a lot. As in, it aims and shoots and kills them without you having to aim; all you have to do is swing the mouse in a circle and everything dies. On top of this, her #3 can be used before you do that to make you 100% immune to being shot (stabbed, not so much). The shots bounce off and back to the shooter, which is really nice when some moron with a rocket launcher is in the mix.

it is not uncommon for a good mesa to get 50+% of damage done and 4 TIMES the number of kills in a defense mission (with 4 people). Now think about that with a lens on her. The open ones like the orokin map are just a slaughter.

To get a better amp, you need to be Level 1 with the Quills (so Onko will sell you the blueprints), which requires Sentient Cores. I've found the easiest way to gain those to be fighting the Teralyst. Not necessarily KILLING the Teralyst, mind you, just fighting it. During the fight, the Terralyst will keep spawning Vomvyalists, the little floating tiki masks. Keep killing those and collecting their Cores. Even if you don't kill the Teralyst itself - even if do basically nothing to it - you can still walk away with upwards of 50 Intact Sentient Cores per night, which at MR8 is most of your daily Reputation Cap with the Quills right there. I remember walking way from my very first fight with it with 84 cores to my name even though I failed to break even a single limb off the thing.

In fact, killing the Terralyst doesn't really contribute all THAT much to your Cores. Each limb drops an Exceptional Core and the Teralyst itself drops a Brilliant one. That's equal to 32 Intact Cores, which you can easily get just randomly during the fight without doing any substantial damage to the thing. Granted, actually killing it is better, but NOT killing the Teralyst is something you can do solo without a decent build or the appropriate gear. It's what I did :)

Good to hear :) You won't be disappointed with your new Amp, even if it's the basic one with all T1 components. The difference between that and the Mote Amp is absolutely night-and-day. The amount of fishing and ining you need to do is not insignificant, though, so best of luck with that.
