How to defeat Vay hek?

i have used like 2 Hours to just beat 15% Of His HP but It's So hard

Hi,

first, don't waste your time fighting it in the middle of the map, go straight to the end arena

second, when he is in his flying stage he is invulnerable most of the time (grey health bar), but you can still stripp his armor by using a high status weapon with corrosive. When he is vulnerable his healthbar will turn yellow (or red if you stripped his armor) : time to shoot !
(I personnally use Lenz... but it is MR8)

the terra-frame phase is the easiest : just hit it with all you've got...

Don't forget that you don't really have to fight him, unless you want Hydroid. You can advance to other planets, get better mods, and try again.

Farm the Sergeant on Phobos to get Mag, then use Boltor + Mag's Magnetize.

The thing is I never see him go away from his flying state and have to always aim for the head. anyway to get him down or see he is not in that flying state?

he will go into the non-flying form once you've damaged him enough... :/

Unless its changed you shoot the head. He is a bit much to solo if you are newish, take some friends. He can barely take a few hits from a higher level player.

If his face is exposed you can shoot it, but for the most part you shoot the top middle part that has a light glow.

Everytime i try to hit that i do no damage.

Kind of hard if hes always moving and i have to hit his head and he once every 20 secs or something puts on his armoed helmet. Im running out of ammo to fast (Or slowly) Without Doing much damage

Try to get above him. If you manage to find a ledge or wire high up enough to stand above Vay Hek, he'll stop dodting your shots. Makes him much easier to hit and gives you clear line of fire on the gem in his back - whatever that is. Wait for it to glow, then shoot that for massive damage. If it stops glowing, stop shooting and wait for it to pop up again. Bringing Piercing damage helps, and I find Radiation helps quite a bit, a well.

But yes, he's a massive pain in the ass until you get some better gear and more levels.

I dont know what weapons you are using, but try to use something that either strong, like a sniper or bow, it will help a bit with ammo conservation.

A strategy that I use, is if you have volt, when you slide down the tube into the boss fight area, immediately run towards the ledge that Vay Hek starts near and jump to the very top.

Drop a shield and you should be ok up there. You get a clear view of the battlefield and all the areas Vay Hek will pause near so you can shoot him.

Also like someone said before, bring a friend or random group. If you have a max or enar max serration, split chamber, and some mods for corrosive damage / status damage, Vay Hek is an easy fight alone.
