Warframe Linked to Steam?[Buying a DLC]

I've bought some plat on the game, already.
Does this means that my warframe account is linked to steam? And there so if I buy a DLC for Warframe on Steam does the items go automaticly to my account as soon as I launch the game and login in it?
I also have some achievements completed.
I just want to make sure everything works fine.

I clicked on "Linked Steam Economy Profile" and it opened a browser page with some of my steam account info like achievements from many game including warframe. It means it's liked right?

Yep it's linked and that means you can get some of the stuff for Warframe off of the Steam Marketplace like the Rubedo or Phased skins. Oh and the DLC stuff should go straight to your account yes, but most of the DLC Packs have all have farmable mods and other items that you can get ingame. I'd only really advise getting it if you want to support DE, otherwise you would be better off just waiting for a 75% discount from daily login then buying platinum that way to save yourself alot of money.

I'm considering buying a DLC, first because I need plat and than because the DLCs on steam are on sale.
I can buy a 99€ pack for 46€ it's a really good deal I think...

Think of it like this way you can get a 190€ platinum purchase that has 4,300 platinum + some mods for a 75% discount if you did wait for it in the daily login and if you do get a discount you'll have atleast 2 days to use it anyways. Compared to the Steam DLC's 1,500 platinum that you'd only get.

Yeah maybe you're right... It's only because i'm needing plat and a chance of getting 75% off is hard.

Maybe its a choice to get yourself a prime access or prime vault Frame which also has some platinum comming with it. Unfortunately no discounts on those.
