Yeah, I'm going with the latter option... where are good place to find all the materials?
there are a lot of diferent things to get for the construction but most of them are rather easy to get on planets. The critical material to get is forma (one per room to be constructed) that you get from relics opening in fissure missions
To get nezha research itself you will need at least one build fieldron, mutagen mass, and detonite injector that you can get from invasion rewards and an orokin cell that you can get on ceres or saturn.
If you want to build a full dojo with all research labs however, you will need a little more planning because you will need to add other rooms to get construction energy (rooms called reactors) and capacity (rooms called Halls) all requiring formas to build... there is a minimal layout to get your research running here (although it may be outdated) :
