They spawn random, you can't really farm for them, ypu simply stumble across or not. Personally i got some during the daily Syndicate missions - you search in the whole map for the medallions anyway or lately when i played with friends they focused on the mission and i just searched the whole map with a scanner. But well unless you actually try to find them you won't find that many...
If your goal is the Endo than i suggest to play further through the starchart and farm at high level endless notes for it or unlock sorties (always good for endo).
2.
The lasers are only meant to slow you down, they have no affect on the timer at all.
I don't know what sorties are, but I heard about it. And yes, I'm looking for Endo and have been doing Alerts to get it til now.
2. Alright, good to know. Also, are they likely to spawn in the Void missions? I came across three timer rooms in the Orokin Tileset til now, but never managed to get to the final room sadly. I really hope I didn't miss three sculptures this way.
And thanks for the fast reply :)
As for the best place to find them, that may require alot of trial and error on your part as people who know good places where they can turn up more frequently are probably not going to share it publicly (even if such a place exists). About the only thing that is known is that they can be found at the same place on the tileset where syndicate medals or those shiny blue orbs (forget name) you can scan will appear. If you know of a mission where you have many places where that orb can appear within the usual variations of the map, you can probably keep running that mission until a sculpture appears there. Frankly though, you're best off just playing the game.
As far as farming endo is concerned, excavation and survival missions are probably your best bet as you can get endo frequently from the first two rewards while also converting any common mods that drop.
As for treasure rooms, learning to bullet jump and learn the layout of the room is key. Some of the Corpus places on Venus are good for practicing long distance movements since they are wide open. If lasers continue to feel like a hinderance, consider making Rhino and make use of the ability that gives you a damage shield. This shield will prevent you from being staggered from crossing lasers.
Now this can be time consuming picking through an entire mission looking for them, but you can speed it up by using weapons like the Ignis ( with sinister reach for more range) , and using certain frames who can wipe out a bunch of containers over a large range. Personally i use Equinox in day mode 4 ability, if you set him up for max range you can pop containers 45m in all directions iirc.
Yesterday i got 4 sculptures in 9 missions, i usually get 1 sometimes 2 in 9 missions though.
