Nearly impossible to get War?

Ive got over a thousand hours in this game and ive killed the shadow stalkers more times than i can count, yet ive never seen or even heard of any of my friends / clan EVER getting a blueprint for the War or Broken War. Is there something im missing here? Or does DE really just expect me to shell out a couple hundred plat for the Hunow bundle in order to get the War?

It is possible to get it from Shadow Stalker as I've gotten atleast 2 War blueprints and around 3 Broken War blueprints by now (though I've gotten everything from Shadow Stalker and wasn't even really trying to get it all). It just can take a long time because of it's low drop rate.

Definitely War Blueprint drops from Shadow Stalker, but it is only 5.53% drop chance. By now I taken it 2 times. 5.53% drop chance is low and Shadow Stalker don't appear every mission. In my case I am still waiting for Despair Blueprint drop, and of course Brakk Barrel and Receiver from G3.

If you really want to farm the "War" Blueprint you need some strategy.

- Buy all beacons that you can from Baro Ki'teer and find a group that have beacons too.

If you haven't beacons, then you need to know the next:

- You can't be invaded two times in the same missions. This includes syndicates, G3 and Zanuka.
- You can be invaded only in the first 5 minutes of the missions.
- Shadow Stalker will have more percentage of apparition when your weapons and warframe are low level.

Spawn Chance = 1.5% + (0.5% × P); P = Number of Marked members.
At least one squad member must be marked for death by Stalker before he will have a chance of spawning.

As of Update 18.5, the Stalker will no longer appear to attack players wearing a Warframe under Rank 10.

Although it is a risky move, going into Operator mode and attacking him with the Void Beam will dispel all the damage resistances the Stalker currently has.

There is a delay of 30 to 280 seconds (~4 minutes) before the Stalker will spawn in a given mission.

When farming for stalker marks, run the assassination for the Hyena Pack on Psamathe, Neptune. As you can acquire a mark from each Hyena, effectively giving you four chances at a mark per mission.
