Where is a good place to farm Ferrite?

With the new update coming out I literally dont know where to go to farm for resources anymore. And its getting irritating. All i need right now is Ferrite so some basic Info for Ferrite will be very helpful. Thanks

M-Prime on Mercury. Bring a Thief's Wit mod, and break every container you see. You can easily get 600-800 ferrite per run, and even a shot at Banshee Chassis blueprints if you need 'em.

So wait this what you do ever since Update 9 right?

I'm not really sure why you think U9 changed things. The only thing that changed with resource drops from that was the addition of the clan-tech resources (fieldron samples, detonite ampule, mutagen sample) and some tweaks to the frequency of rare drops. Everything else was basically left as it was.

You're completely wrong. I want you to farm for Ferrite from the places that the wiki tells you to go and watch you get Polymer bundles and Circuits and such.

M-Prime. Did a run on my slowest frame, took about 8 minutes: 659 ferrite. Tossed on rush mod, 4 minutes: 561 ferrite.

I've never seen any difference in the drop rates/tables for the other materials, but I can confidently say that as of mere seconds ago, M-Prime is perfectly fine for ferrite.

the real problem is burdening yourself with farming as opposed to enjoying the game and getting the resource as a "by-product" of your enjoyment. XD if you really really must get ferrite, i would try on earth since the other two resource drops there would have a lower chance of dropping... and when they do drop you would need them even more.

M-Prime agreed with others :P I got 1008 ferrite and some mods

Ive been doing M-prime runs so i could make the Dera. If you really take your time in solo and check all the containers/lockers and kill everything you see you might get results like mine (1600 ferrite per run) easily got enough in 3-4 runs
