I'm a noob...Cronus? Yes, no?

Ok, if I still had the Skana, I would obvious build it, however, I did a one time Premium money thing and had some fun with my friend picking out a random weapon with the few Premiun things I got. We hadn't played the game really at all yet and got the Heat Dagger. I'm still new and it's served it's purpose for me. I am looking into going to stealth and I know what weapons I want to get in the long run, but right now, I have a level 13 Heat Dagger, and I've seen the blueprint for the Cronus in my Foundry begging for me to build it. The only reason I haven't is Weapon Slots and I am wondering whether the Cronus is better or up to par with the Heat Dagger, especially if I want to get into stealth stuff. So in short, is Cronus better, equal, or worse than a level 13 Heat Dagger?

The Cronus is good, it's better than the Skana.
As to whether it's better than the Heat Dagger, I'm not the one to say, I'm not a huge fan of daggers in this game.

I recommend crafting the Cronus, then selling it when it's level 30, just for the mastery points.

When you first make the Cronus, it will seem very very weak in comparison to your heat dagger. This isn't because the heat dagger is better (it isn't in my opinion), but because it's a lower rank.
The Cronus is a very good weapon when it's max rank.
But, so is the heat dagger.
But, considering the dagger is designed for speed and not damage, and considering you want to do stealth, the Cronus would be a better bet.
Why?
In a room, and this is one of the major problems with stealth in this game, if one enemy becomes alerted, ALL of them in the room do. Pretty screwing your chances of stealth.
So you want that sword swing to be an instant kill.
So I'd go for the damage of the Cronus.

Both are neat. But I would more fall to Cronus stylish and powerful.

You can also build the weapon, and then leave it in the foundry to claim at a later time. Also, good luck with your stealth wishes; it takes a lot of patience to pull it off and won't be happening in a pug, lol.

If you want the mastery points, build the Cronus, otherwise there's no point. Build something that's actually useful, such as (warning: opinion) Dual Ether.

Cronus is great for getting used to the foundry system and for learning the benefits of crafting in the game. I would recommend building it just for that reason. Also, it's super cheap to build and looks cool.

Build any and all weapons and get them to rank 30 for mastery points. If weapon slots is an issue (not buying plat) then just keep your fav. Stealth is kinda pants atm but getting a big buff in next update so it could all change soon ;)

Cronus is okay, there are better melee weapons out there though.

Most if not all longswords are kinda gimped atm with the exception of the Dark and Plasma swords.
