What's with the weird ping pong ball sounds?
That's all I can think to describe it as.
You ever got a ping pong/golf ball and dropped it onto a table made of plastic and heard that popping noise?
Yea... Why does that occasionally play while playing Warframe?

It's not that it's a bad sound, I'm just confused why it's there.

when you start up warframe... THe sound plays when the loading is done. Have you maybe turned it on too many times, or has your sound glitched and repeats it on and on as soon as the game loads? Possible isn't it.

It plays sometimes when I'm in the mine style areas.
Maybe it's to simulate like, rocks falling down a chasm or something.
Damn sounds.

Probobly. The infected make many noises too. Maybe your creative imagination told you its a good thing, but maybe its just some infected guy ripping off a rocky spore or something

I know what you mean by the ping pong ball sounds. Seems to me like a cheap way of putting more sound effects into the game by the devs. IT happens randomly, even in missions.

yes and when it happens sometimes musik starts and Lotus stops telling me her one liner like: Havy grinner are comming.

MEh.. I dont get these sounds... aNd i dont think they'd add a pointless sound which ruins their game for more sound effects.

Someone on Warframe's community forums suggested that it's the sound of Grineer dropping bullets. Or I supposed it could be pipes and hulls popping from pressure. You hear it mostly with Grineer missions, but I've heard it on others as well (but not in the Orokin Towers). Whatever the intent, the sound could be redone to make it clearer what it is - plus make it consistent with what it's supposed to be.

I could be wrong, but you might be referring to the sound of bolt-type weapons hitting walls and floors? Unless you're by yourself and not using anything like that, then I have no clue.

i know exactly what you mean, its no program or anything it is in game, ive wonderred it myself and i dont think anything triggers it too, just probably some weird random sound
