How to find elemental mods? [ANSWERED]

I recently acuired two of the Shocking Touch mods.
Very nice indeed - I love the shock damage on my sword.
But... While having a thunder sword is quite cool, it's nothing compared to having a fire/frost/shock firearm.
I've heard of the helfire mod that makes a rife fire incendiary rounds and cryo rounds that make pistols fire frozen bullets, but I've no idea how to well... get them.
I looked them up on the wiki, and all I could get was that they're dropped by the copus (Which makes sense I s'pose).

Does anyone have any tips on how to increase my chances of getting an elemental mod?
I learned (from the wiki) that they're an uncommon drop, but some people have been having incredible trouble getting them.

Any help?

Defense missions are the best for mods, with a good group and hitting wave 20+ you can end up with 30+ mods in a run

I actually did just finish a defence mission (solo so only got to wave five) and I must admit, they are quite profitable.

Also you can get mods at the end of raid mission, but like TechRebel said, Defense is your best bet.

I've gotten most of the ele and wpn dmg increase from mobile defense, but i've seen all drop on normal defense missions too.

I prefer to jump into mobile defense missions when playing PUGS. Defense I try to avoid unless when I'm with a group I know so that you guys can last the waves long with proper coordination and make it to at least wave 20.
