Strict NAT, UPnP malfunctioning
So, i have over 100 hours on Warframe so far, and never had any problems until now. I clicked the little 3 triangle looking icon at the bottom of my screen next to "region" to see what it does, and my game froze for a second. I clicked it again, about 3 times, and it did the same thing every time. I thought maybe it just wasn't displaying whatever it was meant to display. Anyway, now every time I log into Warframe, a message shows up telling me I have a strict NAT, UPnP is malfuntioning, and I must forward UDP ports 3960 and 3962 to a certain IP ending in 12. I have UPnP enabled in-game, with ports 3960 and 3962 set as default. But, in my router settings, it says on a chart that I have 3960 and 3962 listed twice. They're listed as Int. Port and Ext. Port, with IP address ending in 89, but the second listing has them with Ext. 3966 and 3967 with IP address ending in 12....the game is telling me I have to forward it to the IP ending in 12. I don't see a clear way to manually change port destinations, so I was hoping someone could maybe enlighten me....I know this isn't exactly a perfectly worded post, so if you have any questions, I would gladly clarify to the best of my ability. I just really want to fix this because I'm stuck soloing at the moment. Thanks in advance for any help received.

EDIT: After no avail, I reinstalled Warframe (of course I played Skyrim while it downloaded), and it's working fine....sooo yeah, idk. It somehow fixed it, so if anyone else can't figure it out, just reinstall and see if that works, because it worked for me. Anyways, thanks for the comments guys, peace.

If you are trying to OPEN those ports go to start - cmd - ipconfig. Look for your ethernet adapter and look at the IPv4 address and that is the IP address you want to use to forward the ports to take off restrictions. No promises it will work but if that is what you're talking about give it a try.

Also if they are listed twice id suggest deleting one, from what i know routers cant forward a port to two different addresses.

Alright in your router settings it has the ports and a related IP address, if you go into your start menu and open cmd also known as the command prompt - it will open a black box. In the black box type ipconfig, then look for your ethernet adapter (it will be labeled) and use the address lined up with IPv4 Address as the IP address in your router settings.

do what it tells you to. go to settings and put the port numbers into what it said.

ok im really sorry, this is probably annoying but thank you for the help. buuut it still isnt working. the pop up says something along the lines of "strct nat detected. upnp not detected. please forwaard udp ports 3960 and 3962 to..." and then it says my ip address. i havd nat filter set to open. is that the right thing? and im still having a hard time with the forwarding of ports. sorry for the trouble :(

TRy what I said
go to the setiings IN GAME and set it to 3960 3962... IF it even lets you get anywhere near that.
IF so try the options befor eyou click PLAY. Might be there too.

Maybe you should forward your ports...?

Jesus christ, man, it even tells you to do it.
