Forget them, yes... It does show loot on the minimap, that includes, crates, bodies, and mats... useless? I think not... every level add range of the radar, at max level you know where all loot drops are in the current and every room around you (including on different levels )

if your group is polite at all (most are) they will mark mods and rare mats... i didnt say thief's wit was useless but its perty close to being.. mods slots on your frame are worth more than swag on your mini~map also if there is powers your not using than your wasting points to eqp it

I'm pretty sure a friend got a banshee drop for the whole group becasue I said "hey, there's a lot of loot here, wait, there must be a hidden room, look up there! a Platform!" Which I promptly couldn't reach in my Ex, he wallran up in his loki with buffed stamina, and we got the loot.

I'm pretty sure that banshee drop was direclty from that room, I've only encounted that map section once, and you had to wallrun up the inside of an elevator shaft to get to the room, though I could well be wrong. I got it as well, which was weird, it wasn't an alert, and there was no boss.

yes blueprints show up as rewards in normal levels too sometimes (as level rewards not in level)

atleast i have never seen them drop like bosses drop them in non~boss levels... also you only get them from the boss if you pick them up in other levels everyone gets them at end of level not just ppl that picked it up... aka level reward not a drop

It's not that useless. It's a good mod for those who farm specific items.

T3Ext with some running Theif's Wit or Loot Radar + Master Theif allows you to find treasure rooms and challange rooms pretty easily and results in a lot of credits.

It also allows you to find the caches during sabotage missions, I use this mod on basically every warframe have have, mainly because I have the capacity and slot to spare.

Thiefs Wit is definitely good when you are first starting to get the hang of the tile sets. Since a lot of times there will be some crates near the caches (which it does not show). So if you see a bunch of crates around but it isn't obvious how to get to them, odds are there is some secret cache nearby.

Personally I use Animal Instincts, tho I do have a fully leveled thiefs wit. Animal Instincts is just easier to put on my lil' buddy and totaly forget about and it has just enough range to be useful.
