Does anyone have any suggestions on weapon and mods to kill these ancient toxic fast, preferably the long range? Or some tips to end their life fast? They became a bother at higher level, at Xini for example.

for me personally i just spam all the special infecteds with ice bullets since it slows them down so i can fire my load at it till it dies.

easiest way to deal with a high lvl toxic ancient is to let a rhino go to town on em with iron skin on. but a boltor will also do the job pretty will if its loaded out with a good damage mod and some fire and armor pen

i prefer shooting under arm there is crit spot, and to other ancients is better dmg to shoot "non-infected" parts of body like stomach or between legs

Shooting them in the right shin (the area under their knee), deals pretty good damage. If you have a strong AP mod equipped, headshots work decently too.

i'd agree with jin, get the ice mods and they will slow down enough for you to finish them off

Make sure you are using the correct elementals against the correct enemies. For infested fire, for grineer armor piercing, and for corpsus electricity.

That only work until your power cost went up, then you will have to make decision which mod to use because you cant use them all.

i have nearly all elements max on my boltor and ap is a elemental mod for me too.
you need an easy way to kill them?
Try fire and ice.
Infested take 4x more damage from fire and they have a higher rate to get in panik by ignites.
Fireshoots cause panik on them and ice keep them slowed.
Else use high dps on them, shoot at their arm or at their big foot.

The vulnerable spots for ancients are the arms and lower legs, particularly the one that doesn't have a boot. Trying to headshot them is unreliable at best and wont even do any more damage than shoothing them in the shins.

Wait what are you talking about? I have a paris, with all elements on, works fine maxed and it kills. (I usually have to be the host though).
Same goes for my Akbolto and Dual Zorens.

AkBolto with +140% damage mod and +45% of each Ice, Fire and Electricity and 72% fire rate works great... Doesn't even take a whole clip.
