How to build a Rhino warframe
This may sound rather simple, but does anyone know where you're supposed to go to obtain the parts needed to make a Rhino warframe?(The helmut, chasis, etc.) Is it just some kind of rare-drop you can find anywhere? Or do you have to travel to a specific area? I looked through the planets and couldn't find any that seemed to drop them.

Any information would be appreciated.

Venus? Thanks for the info. Guess I'll have to unlock the path there then. (To Fossa, that is. Haven't worked that far in, I was told it cost 105K to unlock the Rhino blueprint. Turns out it was only 35K, so yeah.)

Thanks again though.=)

The extra 70k is probably in the cost to build each part (15k x 3) and the warframe itself (25k).
Gorebane44 6 ABR 2013 a las 6:26 p. m.
the warframe blueprint itself is 35k not 25k was prolly typo though

check the warframe wiki for all the pieces, but some of the exceptional ones were neural sensors from neptune boss iirc (golem) and a control module from the hyena

The blueprint cost 35,000, and the construction cost for the item itself says it's 25,000. You don't have to BUILD every item involved in making a Rhino.... Do you?
Dream 6 ABR 2013 a las 7:34 p. m.
yeh, you do check the warframe wiki

. . . . . So, there's a blueprint for every piece? The helmut, chasis, and programming? Are you serious?

No they are lying because for only a few plat you cab skip it.
zerg_humand 6 ABR 2013 a las 8:27 p. m.
While that may be true, it doesn't answer the question. Is there an individual blueprint for every single piece of the Rhino's primary blueprint requirements? (Rhino helmut, Rhino Chasis, Rhino Systems.)

I plan to try and find this wiki, cause if this is true... By God, there's offering a cash-solution for instant access, and offering an alternative free method, but this is ridiculous! How is this a fair alternative??
zerg_humand 6 ABR 2013 a las 8:37 p. m.
I just found the Wiki, and located the Rhino and... By God. Do the developers REALLY think this is a fair alternative method? Do they truly believe it's fair to make players have to farm such an inhumane amount of resources, just to build this? Especially with the chance you WON'T like the Warframe anyway, which wastes your only other default Warframe slot, along with mountains of credits and materials!

I'm sorry, but as someone who has played MANY a free-to-play MMO with cash-shop items that you can earn in-game for free, this is just five steps beyond reasonable. In the end, it boils down to farming a location, for a CHANCE, at finding one of three different blueprints, to build items, that go into ANOTHER blueprint, and those items require resources farmed from an entirely DIFFERENT section of the damn galaxy, including one that comes from yet another boss, as only a chance drop, just so you can build them over the course of 12 hours each, which leads up to building the main item, that takes THREE DAYS to be constructed!!!

I had ALOT of high hopes for this game, but this method of item construction pisses me right the hell off. THIS ISN'T GOOD GAME DESIGN, DIGITAL EXTREMES!!!! Even if this is beta, it doesn't excuse this degree of excess on how damned difficult it is, to build ONE alternative "class"!!

I've play many F2P mmos as well and it really doesn't bother me, or any of the other thousands of closed beta testers that played. It comes down to your feeling of entitlement, hard work must be something new to you, grinding for that one item? lots of games do that! Why do people keep posting these threads, oh well, you all keep posting I'll keep commenting!
zerg_humand 6 ABR 2013 a las 9:08 p. m.
It's not a feeling of entitlement, it's offering a reasonable alternative to your fanbase, when you have an item available for instant access via an item shop. Also, I've played my fair share of games where you have to bust your ass to get that single piece of a set of something you really want, but this one is taking it MUCH too far. I'm willing to work for my items, but the sheer amount of resources required, when combined with the credits and build time, just make this painfully unappealing to try and obtain.

Also, when did playing games REQUIRE you to feel like you're "working" to earn something? When did excessive degrees of grinding become the accepted norm? I've been gaming since Mario Brothers on the NES, and many a DOS game on PC. I'm not speaking from a blind, single-experience outlook toward this game, I'm speaking from quite a number of years of experience. The gameplay in this game is fantastic, and I can't give it enough praise for how GOOD it feels running around slashing guys with varying styles of melee weapons, or blowing them away with so many ranged weapons, but this... This is just unreasonable. Also, if I was the only one that felt this is unfair, there wouldn't be so many others who have expressed the same thing. I work hard at my games, to enjoy them to the fullest, if the need arises, so kindly keep those kinds of comments to yourself, please. Also, Digital Extreme is supposed to be trying to draw in fans for this game, in the long-run, that will support them with purchases through their cash shop, to help keep them going. This kind of design choice is absolutely certain to drive a massive number of players away, when they realize it's a core mechanic of the game.

I'm not being unfair or unreasonable on this matter, I'm looking at this from a realistic standpoint, more so toward common gamers. A laundry list THAT long of what it takes to obtain ONE suit of armor (Basically.) is positive to make people far less eager to play the game in the long run, since it essentially means they're stuck with their original Warframe until they put in the time to run around the Galaxy farming like a madman, which, in my personal opinion, destroys the immersion in a game like this. It shouldn't feel like a real-life job to earn a reward in a game. That's not good game design, no matter how many games adopt such a model.

Call me entitled, call me childish, call me a whiner, do what you will. I'm still a member of the games community, and all I'm hoping for is a fair means of progressing in a game.

Alright, lets start from the top and go down.

Saying it takes too much time and resources to get something makes me laugh, many an mmo with a crafting system have long wait times for things. When did it start? WOW is the best example for somethings taking forever. You can nes games on an emulator and gog.com fills in the other, so don't be all " I played games in the beginning! " cause I can tell you, I payed to play pong!

I know there are TONS of people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the " it should be faster and cheaper " and you know what, if it was such an issue it would have been changed in the closed beta! Personally, like with other games, this shouldn't have been released on steam til after open beta, but it is and its a FREAKING BETA, not even full launch yet!

Now, at this point I "would" comment about the devs don't read these, I know now they actually do, though I think it might come to a point where they might be saying " OMG, not another prices need to drop post "

I'm sorry my thoughts may make you feel comfortable because... wait wait... no I'm not sorry... and yes I do think you want your entitlements, childish? not so much... Whiner? little bit but then again, its people like you that help people like me thing of new ways to say the same thing! Yes, you are a person that posts on the steam forums like me, just don't feel bad when you get insulted because you made this post.

I don't see it any different than Planetside 2's SS vs Certs upgrades.

Flex that e-peen, Chris The Imp, flex it. I'm sure ya feel quite mighty, trying to talk down to someone, for having a differing opinion to your own. Paid to play Pong? You certainly lack the spelling and typing skills to really attest to that, my friend. Also, countless series choosing to use the same bad choice when it comes to certain mechanics does NOT make it acceptable, nor any less intolerable.

No, I don't expect the developers to read every post, nor do I expect them to ACT on any of them, for that matter, let alone mine, but when a majority of players take issue with the same part of a game, it doesn't make them "whiny, entitled complainers", it makes them people that SEE an issue, and are voicing why they feel it should be changed. This is a beta, it's designed to help rectify issues such as these. Also, I bought my NES games, and I don't own any emulators, since I don't prefer to play my console games with a keyboard in place of a controller.(Not very comfy trying to play a playformer made for a SNES controller with keyboard keys.)

Also, whether or not your posts make me comfortable, or as you probably were intending to say, UNcomfortable, is of no concern to me. It'll take more than your personal brand of attitude to insult me. If I have an opinion, I'm going to state it, whether it contradicts your own grind-happy mindset or not.

With that said, try not to get so mad about this stuff, yeah? :3
