played beta back im 2012, can u solo this game?

i feel like any time i launch warframe i have to like "start again" so to speak with whatever new fanged updates they added and that i always hit a wall with a mission that REQUIRES more than one person to progress and i hate that. same thing i hate about destiny, and the first descendant is just bad warframe so....i'd love to finally get into this game tho cuz it looks fun as hell and i remember combat being super visceral and satisfying but never having any ammo (didnt matter much cuz melee RULED). i'm just wondering if u can like FULLY do it solo or if some content is barred without others dead space 3 style.

also im open to any newbie tips i only got 13 hours in the game so like feel free to tell me "go into this volcano to beat the game!!!" or whatevs.

IMO. yes it very doable as a solo gamer.

I am not an expert player and would likely be considered "mid" but I've clocked over 2k hours and all of it in single-player. Admittedly, I lean on the friendly NPC AI in missions that I am not quite able to complete otherwise, using "Specters" and pets.

Yes its solo, but you wont get the good mods or end game mods on 100% solo like me, ive been at it for years and still only got mid game mods, RNG for solo is *almost zero% drop rates Especially on void relics. And Near impossible to get what you really need. All story modes are solo and main game story quests.

Yes and No.
For example, You can solo and complete most missions with no problem.
But in some missions, it requires full team to get faster progress and better rewards.

Yes, although you will have to diversify your loadout for various mission types. It is advised to join a clan anyway though for some free blueprints and a place to trade.

LR5, pretty much solo everything. I'm not sure why people are saying there are missions you need to group or get better rewards for grouping when that's not really the case?

Void fissures, you get to choose from up to 4 rewards instead of just getting your own. Used to be you got more Hound parts from doing Sister showdown with other people but they removed that far as I can tell.

I did, had a founders account. Lmao I remember playing defense so many times at the beginning, because that was the main way to grind loot.

Didnt play for many years, came back, spent like 800$ in edition to all the other money I spent on this game. Mainly to buy the parts that wouldnt drop because of "rng".

Its a challenge, steel path was the hardest part because its mostly dead so trying to clear the star chart solo took me weeks, and alot of farming and preparation beforehand.

But its doable.

I dont like where this game and the community are heading though, so I cant bring myself to play anymore. What a waste of a founders account but since its illegal to transfer accounts, all I can do is delete it I guess. I dont really want to, but I dont think I will be playing this game again.

I think this will be my last post here actually, wouldnt want to upset anyone and get mass reported (again) because someone took a comment the wrong way.

DE has become the very thing they claim to hate, lmao. What do I expect from a company in a country that did what it did to me. Whatever though.

That isn't necessarily better rewards though, you still only get one and its oftentimes just faster to run your own relic solo than wait for 3 other people to crack their relic and catch up. And you'll finish hounds way before you collect every tenet weapon so I'm not sure why that would even factor in, even if you did get more parts per player.

ive never grouped and im still mid game , out of 34 relics that had a item i need, i never got it even once on any relic, but if id had teamed with others i would have had 4x the chance. Still i never got it and now im out of that relic AGAIN. Solo is not for farming but only for completing main story and side quests . loot is for groups . Just because YOU'RE RNG worked out fine for YOU , dosnt mean we all have you're luck.

OP has like 13 hours in the game. I doubt they'd be speedrunning relics so doing them in squad to have three other possible choices just makes sense.

Even with thousand of hours in the game I still prefer doing relics in squads. The small wait time with the possibility of getting something good from 3 other relics outweighs that little time save that I would get if I were to solo the mission. But hey, that's just me. Good thing we have options.

OP asked if you can solo all content in the game, giving disingenuous answers like "uhm acktually it's 0.005% more efficient if you run relics as a group" is going against the spirit of the question they asked and debating in bad faith. Their playtime is not relevant as they're not asking if right now its more efficient or not to do so.

game is made for team work i just do exterminate missions solo because players just rush through them in a team.

Hound parts used to sell for half-decent plat, and while it might take 20 more seconds to finish a fissure mission I'd still choose to do it that way because even if I get nothing good there's 3 other dice being rolled and someone might get a different part I also need.
