i got banned for ten years for nothing?

unless i did something stupid as a little kid i cant remember what happened but for whatever reason im banned... kinda annoying fr

Was also just banned about 30 mins ago mid-mission. Maybe a new false positive with the recent windows update?

What mission type, what map set?

The game doesn't have any anti-cheat, so it would have to be something you did or some sort of network activity.

The game doesn't have any anti-cheat, so it would have to be something you did or some sort of network activity.

Steel path defense relic cracking, can't remember the map though. I thought it does have anti cheat? Though I never ran any cheat programs or other memory modifying programs.

There is no anti-cheat on the gameplay level, because this is not a competitive shooter. There is monitoring of network activity for stuff that relates to scamming and unauthorized access.

I don't remember exactly, but I don't think they even ban for botting. The mission will just withhold all the rewards.

Given that there's multiple people that this has just happened to, I can't help but think that something went wrong. False positives DO happen and innocent people get scooped up mass bans done by game moderators. Its naive to think that DE is somehow immune to banning players that don't deserve it.

I'm hoping so, legit did nothing to be banned. Even if it was because of a trade I have enough plat to cover any removals. Has to be something automated. I opened a support ticket, we'll see what happens!
