I do agree, I like this expansion alot so far, and they have not even released all content for it. The infested liches for example are not here yet.
There's only a handful of weapons and they're all ♥♥♥♥ to farm. I really miss the days when we got tenno reinforcements.
Plus there's the usual technical issues like getting stuck during the loading screen.
I am farming for the new frame RN and I got beef and potato stew cooking that I'm really looking forward to eating as I keep farming.
Warframe's 1999 update brings some of the most fun moments that actually started after the quest! It's common knowledge that DE hinted many times about something new being usable on multiple stages, but did we realize...if it gets old that just for me means take a break, but they're fun, this new addition....imho.
…that it would lead to the ability to fly through relic run missions and tilesets like a rebel Tenno, alongside your squad on motorcycles? Too good! It's as awesome as Archwings for sure, but now, you can use them on nearly any mission. Solo and group shenanigans await!
And the kicker? You can hop off, shift into Titania's flight mode, and take to the skies like a true Tenno. It’s a hilarious, 10 out of 10 experience.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab your squad, and get ready for some seriously high-speed fun!
Vroom vroom! 😎
Here is my two cents about the story:
-----------------------------
Perhaps it can be reconned as some Void magic thing, like Duviri. Although I fell like the story writers are forgetting, that after new war there is a new faction, and a possible new place (tau), and you are part of a political assassin clan, that could give a whole bunch of story that doesn't need aggressive surgery of the original world.
There could be Tennos, who want to dissent from the Lotus, politics between Corpus/Grineer/Sentients. Tenno clan infighting.
Adding new stuff to the world lore doesn't necessary gives to the story.
After Duviri, there could be a bunch of these demi-planes where void magic happens, you don't have to add time travel to the palette to have infinite alternative worlds.
The bad thing about time travel, that if it exists, than the whole plot has to be about time travel. Entrati could have gone back before the building of the first computer and make sure that it cannot have tech rot. If the story writing team is wise, they steer away from time travel, as it is extremely hard to make a consistent story line, and with newer and newer things coming in, it will be even harder to have a consistent world where there are no supernova sized plot holes. But hey, the 1999 theme is cool, so if its explained later I don't think its a tragedy.
----------------------------
Yes, the NPC s are acting goofy, but they are half mad cyborgs, so it is absolutely acceptable. The music is great, the levels are well designed. I don't quite understand why you have to do a quest with an Excalibur frame (I don't even have one). It did not add to the story or the game mechanics.
It had some bugs during the Zariman level, and the tank boss battle is a bit ridiculous, as the tank does melee attacks, but overall, I think the team (except for the story writers), did a great job. Well done dev team!
whatever their name they'll still be liches though.
like techrot are called techrot and not enemy faction but they're still enemy faction.
