controller support

I can't play with controller. What do I have to do to make it recognize the remote? When I have the game paused it does recognize it but it switches to mouse and keyboard as soon as I return to the game. Thanks in advance

It's probably a SteamInput conflict. Disable it for Warframe.

if i disable it for warframe, the controller doesn't work at all, the light goes off. Using Switch Pro

Give this a try:

Steam Library
Right Click on Warframe
Properties
Controller
Switch the Layout from Official Steam Layout to Template

I have literally tried every single that anyone has ever said to do here or on reddit to fix the controls. It was the update that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything. It isn't getting fixed until they roll things back.

i have the issue sometimes. even with other games. try these things and one should work. 1) make sure windows drivers are up to date if you use windows. sometimes that screws with it (rarely). 2) go to steam settings and disable controler support if enabled. if it is disabled then enable controller support for the controller type you have. you will need to have the game compleatly closed first launcher too. 3) if none of those work then you may need controller support software which is odd considering the game is on xbox and switch with controller support.

No, that won't work. It's an issue with the developer breaking controller support. Everyone has already done everything you said. And some of the 3rd party programs have spyware and ads.

to fix the controller input not responding (in this case) use the steam controller layouts and apply the official warframe one. that fixes it not responding. i had this problem like so many others, but this fixes it. if you had a custom layout template... then youl need to reconfigure it again after apllying the offical once more

My Steam Deck controls got completely screwed by this update as well, even turned on the gyro control randomly. Having to remap even a public template that got screwed up.
